Having retired from professional sport I have spent time both abroad and in the UK training/developing and working in various roles within the sport and fitness industry.
As well as previously owning my own fitness studio’s/gyms, I have worked as everything from a gym instructor in family owned gyms in my home county of Cornwall to Lead Coach roles within the largest organisations in both the UK and the States (David Lloyd Leeds & 24hr Fitness San Francisco)
In 16 years as a Personal trainer- Clients have included 1-2-1 sessions/ small groups/ large classes. At a guess I have trained upwards of 80 individual clients. Gaining some life changing results a long the way.
My niche over the years has tended to be working with individuals looking at making a start or comeback in their fitness journeys. My mantra has become ‘turning setbacks into comebacks’.
I have also been a qualified strength and conditioning coach for 6 years. – over a 10 year period (6 once qualifications completed) I have worked with everything from County Sprinters/long jumpers through to National standard Netball players/teams and professional Rugby players/teams.

As someone who has played sport all my life my first goal is to make all sessions fun. I will aim to push all individuals as hard I they want to go. My philosophy has always been ‘I’ll supply the “how” if you supply the effort’. I know I can improve anybody with their fitness goals/needs if they are prepared to put in a ‘shift’ and learn.
I aim to educate my clients with the information that I continually learn myself. Meaning than we all keep moving forward.
